On October, 12, Minister of Transport Maxim Sokolov presented state and industry awards to the road sector professionals.

The seventh ROADEXPO international specialised exhibition and forum took place in Crocus Exhibition Centre from 10 to 13 October, 2017. The exhibition was sponsored by the Ministry of Transport of Russia and Federal Road Agency.

On 23.09.2017, Voroshilovsky Bridge over the Don River in Rostov-on-Don was officially opened to traffic.

A 50-km road section from km 208 to km 258 is being constructed in Tver Region. All 26 engineering structures that are part of the road are close to completion.

Voroshilovsky Bridge in Rostov-on-Don was open to traffic. The bridge opening was timed to coincide with the anniversary of Rostov Region. After rehabilitation the bridge has separate decks for each traffic direction. The total length of the bridge crossing is 623 m including a central span of 156 m.

The positive opinion by the State Expert Review Authority was received for Design of a new exit to Moscow Ring Road from M-7 “Volga” Federal Highway Construction Stage I (with a by-pass of Balashiha and Noginsk in Moscow Region).

By the Russian President Decree No. 288 of 27.06.2017, Aleksei Zhurbin, General Director of Institute Stroyproekt, was awarded the Order of Friendship for outstanding professional achievements and longstanding and good work.

The festive event was attended by Mayor of Rostov V. Kushnaryov, Rostov Region Minister of Transport A. Ivanov, Deputy Minister of Territory Development, Architecture and Urban Construction A. Polyansky, top officials of regional municipalities and representatives of construction contractors.

On 31 May 2017, the workshop on “Pricing and cost engineering in urban construction” was held in Emperor Alexander I St. Petersburg State Transport University. The workshop was dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the construction economics and management department.

The 6th international forum “Transport of Siberia” opened in Novosibirsk on 24 May 2017. The opening ceremony was attended by Sergey Menyailo, Plenipotentiary of the Russian President in Siberian Federal District, Vladimir Gorodetsky, Governor of Novosibirsk Region, Valery Okulov, Deputy Minister of Transport, Alexander Starovoitov, Member of the State Duma Committee for Transport and Construction and Andrey Shimkiv, Chairman of Novosibirsk Region Legislative Assembly.
