Public Hearings Held on the New Bridge to Krestovsky Island Project
On 16 September 2014, the project for construction of a new bridge to Krestovsky Island was presented at the public hearing held in Primorsky District Administration. The new bridge will link reclaimed areas of Krestovsky Island with Yakhtennaya Street.
Different alternatives of bicycle paths that may be built in the bridge vicinity have been extensively discussed. Public hearing on the project has been also held in Administration of Petrogradsky District. The project design will be soon submitted for review to St. Petersburg Ecological Expertise Authority.
Construction of a new bridge to Krestovsky Island aligned with Yakhtennaya Street
The new bridge crossing links the southern part of Primorsky District with the northern shore of Krestovsky Island. Connection of the bridge to the street and road network of Primorsky District envisages extension of Yakhtennaya Street towards the Gulf of Finland. At Krestovsky Island side, the bridge crossing starts from reclaimed areas.
