Construction of the Tom Bridge in Kemerovo Region is ongoing: Deck launching stage 7 started

An 885m-long bridge over the Tom River is a key component of the North-West Kemerovo bypass designed to divert transit traffic from the city centre, thus reducing traffic load on the existing transport infrastructure and improving the environmental situation.

The work is going on round the clock. In total, over 9.6 thousand tonnes of steel structures will be installed.

The construction of the new bridge designed by Stroyproekt started in 2022. It is expected that the bridge will be open to traffic this year.
