State Expertise positive conclusion received for the Aksai Bypass on M-4 Don Highway Project in Rostov Region

The State Expertise Authority issued a positive conclusion on the design and cost estimates for the Aksai Bypass on M-4 Don Highway Project in Rostov Region (Stage 5).

The 36-km long bypass will be constructed between km 1036+823 and km 1072+321 of the M-4 Don Highway and will help to relieve traffic congestion at this section. The new road stretch will bypass Aksai via Novocherkassk and Aksai District.
The bypass is designed as a category 1 toll road. The design speed is 130 km/hour. The road will accommodate six lanes at section from km 1036 to km 1038, and four lanes at section from km 1038 to km 1073+303. A toll plaza will be built at km 1045. 
The bypass will accommodate three grade-separated traffic interchanges, eight overpasses, five bridges, including a 1850m-long bridge across the Don River.
