The road design has been developed by Stroyproekt for the Khabarovskupravtodor regional state road agency.
Khabarovsk Bypass is the first PPP transport project in the Russian Far East and the largest one in Khabarovsk Krai. This road is of strategic importance as it links three federal highways - А-370 Ussuri, R-297 Amur and А-375 East. The 4-lane road is designed for a maximum allowed speed of 120 km/h and traffic volumes of 25,000 vehicles per day.
