Stroyproekt Engineering Group participates in Transport Week 2015

This year the Transport Week takes place in Moscow on 30 November – 5 December. The Transport Week is an annual business event that comprises a number of nationwide and international activities dedicated to the transport industry, including IX Forum and Exhibition "Transport of Russia".
Special attention is paid to PPP projects that are being implemented in various transport sectors: Western High Speed Diameter, Central Ring Road, Northern Railway, Pulkovo airport modernisation, etc.  
Stroyproekt is actively participating in the Transport Week. Oleg Kaschenko, Vice-President of National Association of Construction Engineering Consultants NACEC and Advisor to the General Director of Institute Stroyproekt, made a presentation on the current issues of project management with account of the existing FIDIC practices. He made his presentation at the international conference organised by VTM Dorproekt “An Integrated Approach to Ensuring the Quality of Design Products.”
The Chairman of the Board, Deputy General Director/Technical Director of Institute Stroyproekt Aleksei Surovtsev took part in the round table “Transport Construction in a Tough Economic Environment” organised by the Union of Railway Constructors.    He spoke about improvements to the expert review procedures for innovation projects.  
The Forum participants discussed the issues related to the competitiveness of the Russian infrastructure, possibilities for development of a high-tech and competitive market of transportation services and their legal and normative basis. The key forum event was a plenary session devoted to the development of transport infrastructure for FIFA World Cup 2018.
An opening ceremony of IX Exhibition “Transport of Russia” took place on 3 December.  The purpose of the exhibition was to demonstrate innovations in the sphere of transport and infrastructural projects.  The Vice Prime-Minister of Russia Arkady Dvorkovich and the Russian Minister of Transport Maksim Sokolov attended the ceremony.

Stroyproekt Engineering Group presented their large-scale projects, including Express Toll Road Moscow – St. Petersburg, Western High Speed Diameter, Ippodromsky Bridge and Bugrinsky Bridge over the Ob River in Novosibirsk, Khabarovsk Bypass, Bridge over Malaya Neva at Serny Island in St. Petersburg and other projects.
