The first stage of Big Obukhovsky Bridge was opened 10 years ago

The bridge first stage was opened by the Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The second stage of the bridge – its twin bridge - was opened for traffic on 19 October 2007 and since January 2008 each half has been used to carry four lanes of one-way traffic.

Cable-stayed bridge length: 994 m
Central span length: 382 m
Pylon height: 126.5 m
Under bridge clearance: 30 m
