The Sakmara River Crossing Opened for Traffic

On 17 November 2014, the new Sakmara River crossing was opened for traffic on Kazan-Orenburg motorway in Orenburg Region.   The bridge opening ceremony was attended by Yury Berg, Governor of Orenburg Region, representatives of executive and local authorities, builders and local residents. All participants highly appreciated one of the major transport projects in the Region built over the recent years.   
The total length of the river crossing is 1.12 m; the bridge is 307.92 m long.
Before opening, the bridge had been inspected and tested by specialists of Proectmostorekonstruktsia. The tests had verified all design parameters of the completed project.
