State Expertise positive conclusion received for Pavlodar Bypass Project, section 3 – Bridge over the Irtysh River and River Training Works 28.11.2014

At present a ring road around Pavlodar is being developed that will include the existing local roads, which are to be rehabilitated, and new road sections. The ring road will relieve the city streets from transit traffic.  The project includes a new 17-m long road section that will cross the Irtysh flood plain. This road section will have a bridge over the Irtysh and will connect the existing roads on opposite banks.

The new road section with a bridge crossing over the Irtysh River links two roads (Pavlodar — Aksu and Omsk — Pavlodar — Maykapshaygay) and is part of the Centre — East Transport Corridor. The new bridge has become a landmark of the transit route from the Central Kazakhstan to Russia.
