Expressway Highway M-12 Vostok Expressway Highway M-12 Vostok

The new highway is designed to divert transit traffic coming from the western Russian regions towards Nizhnekamsk and Naberezhnye Chelny, and further to Ufa, bypassing a congested road along the dam of Nizhnekamsk hydropower plant. The bypass includes a new bridge over the Kama near Kotlovka and Ilyinka.

Our engineers have developed and considered five route alternatives to choose the optimal one, both in technical and economic terms.

The river crossing includes a bridge over the Ob River with approaches, traffic interchanges at the right and at the left banks, a tunnel under Trans-Siberian railway road, toll plaza buildings and utilities.

 
M-11 Neva Express Motorway M-11 Neva Express Motorway

The M-11 Neva toll expressway between Moscow and St. Petersburg is one of the largest infrastructure projects in Russia. It is a much-needed congestion reliever of the M-10 motorway. The new road bypasses all populated areas in Moscow, Tver, Novgorod and Leningrad Regions.


 
М-4 Don Motorway М-4 Don Motorway

The M-4 Don runs through Voronezh, Rostov-on-Don and Krasnodar and connects the central and northern regions of the European part of the country with the Northern Caucasus, the Black Sea coast, and the port of Novorossiysk. The road is part of the international North-South transport corridor.

Our company developed the design and detailed design for reconstruction of several road sections, including settlements bypasses.

Reconstruction of the motorway will improve the traffic and environmental situation, reduce travel time and ensure driving comfort for all road users.


 
Western High Speed Diameter (WHSD) Western High Speed Diameter (WHSD)

WHSD is the first urban toll expressway in St. Petersburg, 46.6 km in length, which comprises a great number of complex engineering structures. The road links the southern and western city districts with the Ring Road, Vasilievsky Island in the center and the Scandinavia highway in the north, and has improved accessibility of the main transport hubs — Pulkovo Airport, the port of St. Petersburg and the Marine Façade passenger terminal. The new expressway has reduced travel times in some city areas by 50-70%.

Bugrinsky Bridge is the third bridge across the Russia’s largest river Ob in Novosibirsk. The bridge is part of South-West transit highway, which links the M-51 Baikal and M-52 Chuisky Trakt motorways.

Blagoveschensky Bridge Rehabilitation Blagoveschensky Bridge Rehabilitation

The project envisaged the rehabilitation of the first drawbridge over the Neva River built in 1850 to the design of engineer Stanislaw Kierbedz and reconstructed in the 1930s to the design of Grigory Peredery.

The new road section with a bridge crossing over the Irtysh River links two roads (Pavlodar — Aksu and Omsk — Pavlodar — Maykapshaygay) and is part of the Centre — East Transport Corridor. The new bridge has become a landmark of the transit route from the Central Kazakhstan to Russia.

In the mid-1990s Institute Stroyproekt developed its first designs for rehabilitation and overhaul of historical bridges in the city centre. Since then Stroyproekt has often dealt with cultural and historical heritage monuments of the Northern Capital and this experience is extremely valuable for the company.

The project was designed to rehabilitate the drawbridge over the Neva River built in 1903 to commemorate the 200th anniversary of St. Petersburg. Troitsky Bridge being a complex engineering structure with a distinguished Art Nouveau architectural decoration is the city’s heritage site.

The project included restoration of a palace and park complex in Strelna and development of the State Palace of Congresses as a seaside residence of the Russian President.  The project schedule was extremely tight since the works had to be completed by the celebration of the city’s 300th anniversary.

Pirogovskaya Embankment is located in the northern part of St. Petersburg on the right bank of the Big Neva and the Big Nevka rivers. The interchange, which comprises an underpass and four right-turn ramps, forms a single transport node with the interchange at the approach to Liteiny Bridge. The total length of rehabilitated embankment sections is 854 m.


 
Bridge to Russky Island Bridge to Russky Island

Russky bridge links Russky Island in the Sea of Japan with the mainland of Russian Far East. It is a cable-stayed bridge with the record-breaking main span of 1104 m, which was built within the preparation to the APEC summit held in Vladivostok in 2012. Construction of the bridge is a part of the federal programme aimed at facilitating the development of Vladivostok to make it become an international cooperation centre of the Asia-Pacific.

Under Liteiny Bridge a new 2-lane tunnel with a 2-m wide sidewalk has been built to improve transit traffic flow from Pirogovskaya Embankment to Arsenalnaya Embankment.

The project included rehabilitation of the historical bridge over the Neva River linking the right bank to the city centre.

The bridge is an extension of Nevsky Prospekt, the main city’s thoroughfare, and forms a single architectural ensemble with Alexander Nevsky Square, Moskva Hotel and the Alexander Nevsky Monastery.

Kurortny Prospect Alternative Road is one of the main transport infrustructure facilities built for the 2014 Olympics. The 16km-long motorway with tunnels, bridges and flyovers goes through the city centre and ensures uninterrupted traffic at 75 km/h. In 2016, the project won the award for Best Transport Infrustruture Project in the contest organised by the Russian Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities.

St. Petersburg Ring Road St. Petersburg Ring Road

The Ring Road is the first express highway in St. Petersburg, which allowed diverting transit traffic away from the city. Part of the road runs along the Flood Protection Barrier.

Stroyproekt developed the design of engineering structures and carried out construction supervision on several road sections and traffic interchanges.
