Тhe proposed highway Vladivostok - Nakhodka - Vostochny Port is located in Primorsky Krai. Vladivostok is one of the largest cities in Primorsky Krai and the entire Far East. It is a major port and the main naval base of the Pacific Fleet of Russia. Nakhodka and Vostochny are two ports, which make together the largest transport hub in the Russian Far East and one of the major transport logistic centers in Russia (with cargo turnover exceeding 90 million tons).

The proposed 62,8 km road section is situated in the city of Barnaul and in Pervomaisky, Pavlovsky and Kalmansky Districts of Altai Krai. The new half-ring road will link two federal motorways R-322 (Barnaul - the border with Kazakhstan) and R-256 (Chuisky Trakt) and will be connected to the P-380 regional road (Pavlovsky Trakt).

Transport Hub in Murmansk Transport Hub in Murmansk

The project is included into the federal target program “Development of Russian Transport System for the period from 2010 to 2020" and will be implemented based on PPP principles. The purpose of the project is to create transport infrastructure on the western coast of Kola Bay including construction of coal and oil terminals, development of railway infrastructure, rehabilitation of the existing coal terminal and construction of a new container terminal on the eastern coast of Kola Bay.

The new bridge crossing links the southern part of Primorsky District with the northern shore of Krestovsky Island.  Connection of the bridge to the street and road network of Primorsky District envisages extension of Yakhtennaya Street towards the Gulf of Finland.  At Krestovsky Island side, the bridge crossing starts from reclaimed areas.

The river crossing includes a bridge over the Ob River with approaches, traffic interchanges at the right and at the left banks, a tunnel under Trans-Siberian railway road, toll plaza buildings and utilities.

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development has provided a senior loan to OJSC Vodokanal, a public utility enterprise responsible for the provision of water supply and wastewater services in the City of Yakutsk, the capital of the Republic of Sakha.  The Project funds will be used to co-finance the priority investment programme aimed at rehabilitation and modernisation of the water intake and water supply systems.

A new 51km-long bypass road will run through three municipalities of Krasnodar Region and will have grade-separated interchanges with the existing railway and motor roads. The route will start at the junction with the federal highway M-4 Don and end at the junction with the federal highway A-289 between Krasnodar and the A-290 road Novorossiysk - Kerch.

The new bridge ensured permanent traffic between the regional centre (the city of Pavlodar) and a mono-industrial town Aksu, and became a part of a large-scale state project for transport infrastructure development, namely construction of a 4-lane highway Astana - Pavlodar - Ust-Kamenogorsk linking Central Kazakhstan and neighbouring Russian regions.

The traffic interchange will connect two parts of Krasnogorsk town allowing for removal of traffic lights from Volokolamskoye and Iljinskoye Highways and ensuring a non-stop driving.

It was the first project in Russia where flexible studs made of ribbed bars were applied and welded on site by “Gefest” automatic machine. Connection of steel beams and reinforced concrete slab with flexible studs has been tested for durability.

Dvortsovy Bridge has withstood for 90 years without any overhaul. The bridge survey revealed numerous defects such as an extensive corrosion of the deck steel in the support areas, failure of the water discharge system, damaged waterproofing and painting. Besides, the abutments have tilted towards the river which resulted in displacement of bearings. In addition, damages of the pier granite masonry and joints have been observed.

Siny Bridge across the Moika River is located in Admiralteysky District of the city of St. Petersburg. It links Kazansky and 2nd Admiralteysky Islands. The bridge was built in 1818 (since 1737 there had been a timber bridge at that place). It was widened in 1842 and reconstructed in 1930. Siny Bridge is the widest bridge of the Northern capital of Russia.
