Construction of the road section from 993 to 1024 km in Rostov Region is a first pilot project in Russia aimed at harmonization of Russian and Western engineering standards.

The closure of the bridge over the Korabelny Fairway at the Central section of Western High Speed Diameter (WHSD) took place in St. Petersburg on 9 August.

On the night of 8 and 9 August, a closing segment of the cable-stayed bridge over Korabelny Fairway was installed.

The award was established by Youth Association under the Governor of St. Petersburg. The winners were chosen by voting at the award web-site.

The State Expert Review Authority has approved the design documentation developed by Stroyproekt Rostov Branch for construction of two bridge crossings in Krymsk.

On 2 August, Minister of Transport Sokolov, Head of Rosavtodor Starovoit and Acting Governor of Tver Region Rudenya opened to traffic the rehabilitated four-lane bypass road around Torzhok, being part of the M-10 highway Moscow – St. Petersburg.

Stroyproekt has obtained a new certificate of business experience and reputation in line with GOST R 66.1.01-2015 “Evaluation of experience and business reputation of enterprises.

On 19 July, the company’s directors inspected the progress of works on site. On 22 July a technical excursion was arranged for top managers of the sectoral companies, Maurer AG and Mostostroy-11. During the excursion General Director of Stroyproekt Aleksei Zhurbin told the guests about the project and novel solutions applied. The guests could see the deck launching operations. An incremental launch is a method of building a complete bridge deck from one end of the bridge only. This method allows erecting large spans with lower labour intensity.
