On 20 October 2015, a regular session of the Standardisation, Quality Improvement and Innovations Section of Federal Road Agency Rosavtodor was chaired by Evgeny Damje, Advisor to Rosavtodor Director. Aleksey Zhurbin, General Director of Stroyproekt took part in this session.

The Road Exhibition was opened on 13 October. The opening ceremony was attended by Maksim Sokolov, Minister of Transport of Russia, Roman Starovoit, Head of Federal Road Agency, Pyotr Ivanov, Deputy Chairman of the Moscow Region Government and Sergei Kelbakh, Chairman of the Board of State Company Russian Highways (Avtodor). The exhibition was supported by Russian Ministry of Transport, Federal Road Agency and Avtodor.  

The All-Russia Association of Road Sector Employers (ASPOR) and the All-Russia Trade Union of Road Transport and Infrastructure Workers have summed up the results of Russian Roads 2015 Contest. The award ceremony was held in Moscow.

On 5 October 2015 Stroyproekt employees who successfully completed young engineers’ training course in 2014-2015 were awarded with the advanced training certificates of St. Petersburg Polytechnic University named after Peter the Great. The training programme was dedicated to construction safety and road engineering quality.

At the TASS News Agency, the road sector experts gave a press-conference and spoke about costs of the Russian roads, as compared to the western analogues, and technical and economic parameters of bridges. The experts also discussed various engineering approaches used in Russia and Europe and prospects of regional PPP projects development.

On 4 September 2015, a regular session of the Committee for Design of Industrial Facilities and Transport Infrastructure was held in the National Association of Surveyors and Designers (NOPRIZ).

On 3rd September 2015, the Working Group of the Public Council set up by the Federal Road Agency Rosavtodor of the Russian Ministry of Transport held the first meeting. The session focused on the improvement of design expert review procedure in the road construction sector.

The Ceremony took place at the territory of the central office in St. Petersburg. Mr. Zhurbin, the General Director, in his opening speech pointed out that this Signpost symbolizes unlimited potential of an engineering thinking and its realization owing to the corporative teamwork.

An official start-up was given to a new major construction project by Head of Rosavtodor Roman Starovoit, Vice-President of the Russian Federation Government Arkadiy Dvorkovich, First Deputy of the Russian Federation Transport Minister Oleg Belozerov, Acting Governor of Kaluga Region Anatoly Artamonov and Deputy General Director of Stroyproekt Alexey Surovtsev.

Implementation of the motorway ramp flyover project in Sochi will ensure free access to the railway station, improve the traffic flow management at the adjacent territory and increase traffic capacity of this transport node.
