The opening ceremony took place on 19 May. The ceremony was attended by Vice-Speaker of the Council of the Federation Evgeny Bushmin, Minister of Transport Maxim Sokolov, Governor of Rostov Region Vasily Golubev, Chairman of the Avtodor Board Sergei Kelbakh and the top managers of the main design company – Aleksei Zhurbin, the General Director of Institute Stroyproekt and Alexander Kusik, the Director of Stroyproekt Rostov Office.

On 12 – 14 April 2017, IV International Forum of Transport Infrastructure Investors and Operators takes place in Sochi. The forum is organised by Russian Highways State Company (Avtodor). Stroyproekt Engineering Group is a strategic partner of the forum.

On 11 April 2017, a closure segment was installed in the river span of the bridge near Serny Island in St. Petersburg.

The 4th Infrastructure Congress “Russian PPP Week” was held in Moscow. It is the largest event for infrastructure development and public-private partnership.

A jubilee conference “Current problems in road and bridge engineering” took place in St. Petersburg on 28 and 29 March. The event was organised by ASDOR and sponsored by State Company Russian Highways, Bridge Building Association “Fund AMOST” and the St. Petersburg committee for transport infrastructure development.

The positive opinion by the expert review authority was received for the design documentation, engineering survey results and cost estimates.

The bridge design developed by Stroyproekt Engineering Group was highly appreciated for its budget, social and economic efficiency, investment attractiveness and unique solutions.

Institute Stroyproekt has concluded a design contract for three traffic interchanges on the Western High Speed Diameter (WHSD) in St. Petersburg.

On 16 January 2017, Rostov Branch of Institute Stroyproekt presented to the governor of Rostov Region an architectural concept design of the access road to the airport. The design provides for development of a comfort environment. The governor approved the design proposed by Rostov Branch.
