State Expertise positive conclusion received for the Volga River Bridge Project in Volgograd, Section 3

On January 23, 2020, the positive conclusion by Volgograd Region State Expertise was received for technical design of the Volga River Bridge Project, Section 3.

The Project consists of four sections. Section 3 is the road connecting the Volga River and Akhtuba River Bridges, which are Sections 1 and 2, correspondingly. The Volga River Bridge has been already opened for traffic and the Akhtuba River Bridge is currently under commissioning.

The Section 3 is to be completed in two phases. Phase 1 is 4.45 km long and includes two bridge crossings over shallow channels, and a traffic interchange. It also provides for installation of noise screens, traffic safety system, stormwater sewage, lighting system and relocation of utilities within the construction area.
