Stroyproekt wins three tenders for design of cycling infrastructure in St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region 23.05.2019

Stroyproekt was successful in two tender competitions announced by St. Petersburg Parking Authority. The assignments involve research and design services for two cycling path projects in the south part of St. Petersburg, including the design of cycling infrastructure and detailed design of traffic lights modernization.

The third win is the assignment for design and research services for the project “Adaptation of new approaches to develop cycling and cycling routes between Russia and Finland to improve safety, mobility and environment, and to promote social development (study case: Svetogorsk – Imatra cycle track)”. The project will be implemented within the South-East Finland – Russia cross-border cooperation.

The project aims to create a separate cycle path through the city of Svetogorsk all the way to the Russian border with Finland and a traffic management plan for the border crossing by cyclists, including road marking, installation of additional traffic signs and bike parking lots. The cycling route will be 4 km long. 

The client is Directorate for Development of St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region Transport System.
