Opening ceremony of Voroshilovsky Bridge in Rostov-on-Don

On 23.09.2017, Voroshilovsky Bridge over the Don River in Rostov-on-Don was officially opened to traffic.

The ceremony was attended by Maxim Sokolov, Russian Transport Minister, Vasily Golubev, Governor of Rostov Region, Vitaly Kushnarev, Head of Rostov-on-Don Administration, Aleksander Kusik, Deputy General Director of AO Institute Stroyproekt / Director of Moscow Branch, and Yury Yershov, Director of Rostov Branch.

After the rehabilitation the bridge accommodates 3 lanes in each direction and its capacity has increased to 80,000 vehicles a day.

At the opening ceremony, the bridge designers and builders received high industry awards.
