Stroyproekt Participates in the 3rd Transport Infrastructure Conference for St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region

On 8 November 2016 M. Sokolov, Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation, opened the annual transport conference in St. Petersburg. The conference was sponsored by the Directorate for Development of Transport System of St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region.

Addressing the conference participants, the Minister pointed out that St. Petersburg remains a pioneer in developing PPP projects.
Stroyproekt’s General Director Alexei Zhurbin made a presentation “Experience of implementing major infrastructure projects using PPP mechanism in different regions of Russia”. Mr. Zhurbin told the audience about the PPP projects realised by Stroyproekt Engineering Group. He focused on advantages for the government and private investors, problems of PPP in various regions and ways to solve them.

Viktoria Kalinina, Head of Stroyproekt Transport Planning Division, took part in the session dedicated to development of St. Petersburg transport system. She spoke about the creation and operation of the Unified Transport Model and the Unified Traffic Diagram of St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region.
