News of Moscow Branch. The Governor of Moscow Region visits the site of the Sergiev Posad Project

The Governor of Moscow Region Andrey Vorobyov inspected the progress of works on the project “Street No.1 “Big Ring” (Western Bypass of Sergiev Posad)”.

Konstantin Lyashkevich, Head of the Public Roads Directorate of Moscow Region, told the Governor about the main project stages.
“We are on the schedule and are ready to commission the first project stage by the planned deadline in midsummer. We are planning to sign a contract for construction of the 2nd stage of the road in June. For the 3rd stage, we are now identifying the funding sources”, told Lyashkevich.

The first stage of this project includes a 1.3km-long road section from the M-8 Kholmogory highway including construction of an interchange and an overpass.  
To date most of the works have been completed, including the overpass and culverts, as well as  the relocation of utilities.

The project is being implemented within the state programme for development of road and transport infrastructure of Moscow Region financed from the regional road fund.
