Road rally in Central Asia has finished

Within 10 days of the rally, the participants drove more than 2 200 km over the public roads of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.

The international road rally was organised by Intergovernmental Road Council of the CIS countries and National Company Kazakhavtozhol JCS with the support of Ministry of Investments and Development of Kazakhstan, Ministry of Transport and Communication of Kyrgyzstan and Ministry of Transport of Tajikistan.

Following the rally, an outcome report and a number of publications are planned to be prepared to overview the existing problems of the road sector in the region and to provide recommendations on improvement of the cross-border road system, road transportation and border crossing procedures in the participant countries.

The specialists of Stroyproekt Engineering Group participated in the rally to obtain more information on potential projects in the countries where the rally took place and to establish contacts with potential customers and partners.

At the stop points, various conferences and workshops were held.  Our specialists also attended a number of business meetings with senior officials of Ministries of Transport and Communication, the Central Asian road transport agencies, road authorities and road companies to discuss mutual cooperation.
