The bridge at Serny Island: Designing resumed 15.01.2014

Stroyproekt, St. Petersburg has resumed development of design documentation for construction of a bridge over the Malaya Neva River near Serny Island in St. Petersburg.
Construction of the bridge is Stage I of Pesochnaya Embankment and Admiral Lazarev Embankment Rehabilitation Project which will provide a new connection with Vasilievsky Island.
The design was first developed in 2003 – 2009. However, construction of the bridge has been postponed several times due to financial problems. Nowadays there are plans to complete the bridge by Football World Cup 2018.
Our design engineers have started adjusting the design documentation to consider the changed project specifications. It is expected that the updated design will obtain a positive conclusion of the State Expertise Authority by the end of the year.
