In November 2010, JSC “Institute Strojproect” celebrated its 20th anniversary since the date of founding. Founded in 1990 by a group of young bridge building engineers as a small entity, over the years “Strojproect” has become a leading Russian design company in the field of the road construction.

The jubilee celebration is a remarkable event not only for the employees of the Institute and its partners. So the festivities also included a press tour where the journalists of the city media could get the answers to many urgent questions of the transport infrastructure development in St. Petersburg, information on resolving the transport problems of Sochi, large scale projects of the Institute in Novosibirsk, Samara, Moscow Region, the Far East and other regions. During the jubilee days quiz radio programs were arranged at “Autoradio” station dedicated to the history of the city bridges (the authors of the questions were employees of “Strojproect”). On November 20, 2010, the traditional midday cannon shot from the Naryshkin bastion of the Peter and Paul’s Fortress was devoted to the 20th anniversary of the Institute. On November 22-25, 2010, “Institute Strojproect” participated as an official partner of the business program and one of the biggest exhibitors in “The Road” International Specialized Forum-Exhibition that was held in Moscow in the Crocus-Expo Center.


The most important event of the jubilee celebration program was the festive gala night in the Moscow Hotel on November 19. The numerous guests of the Company could appreciate the creative abilities of “Strojproect” employees who including the top managers and directors took part in the concert program together with professional artists. The guests of the gala ceremony also had opportunity to enjoy the presentation of books specially published for the jubilee occasion and watch the information film shot about the Institute.
