The First Section of Moscow-St. Petersburg Toll Express Motorway Opened 02.12.2014

The design speed in this section will be 150 kmh. The road section has been completed 7 months ahead of the schedule specified in the investment agreement (July 2015).  The section length is 71.98 km while the free alternative road section is 72.9 km long. M-11 Toll Motorway, which is currently under construction, will become the backup of M-10 “Russia” Motorway busiest section. The new road starts from the border of Moscow and passes via Moscow Region (90 km), Tver Region (253 km), Novgorod Region (233 km) and Leningrad Region (75 km) bypassing  all settlements. It is planned to open the whole M-11 Motorway for traffic in 2018 just in time for the World Football Championship.
Moscow-St. Petersburg Toll Express Motorway is a federal infrastructure project implemented based on a PPP agreement and in cooperation with GK Russian Highways and the Government of Tver Region.
Contractor:  OAO Mostotrest.
Stroyproekt performs the project construction supervision on behalf of the Client.
